In today's episode, we are going to do
picks for UFC 333 main event Alexander
Volkanovski versus Mo Zaur Evloev. The
co-main is great if not better than the
main event. Petr Yan versus Merab
Dvalishvili. Oh my days, bro. This card
is actually special. It's going to be at
a.m. for me. So, I'm going to have
to wake up early. I'm going to make sure
that we're we're here to support the man
Cody Steel. If you guys haven't checked
out that podcast, um and I realized,
bro, the more podcasts I do with UFC
fighters, the harder it is to do
predictions, bro. I'mma keep it 100 who
I think is going to win. I got to lock
in as well. So, we're going to lock in
on our picks and make sure that we're
still top 15 most profitable predictors
on YouTube, all right? So, let's do the
thing. Let's start off with the first
fight of the card. Last Iasmin Lasmin
Lucindo versus Nicole Caliari, bro.
Caliari. And she low-key bad, bro. I
ain't going to lie. Um I'mma go with the
favorite off the first the first rip.
Lasmin Lucindo, she's coming off a win.
Uh she did lose to Amanda Lemos. Lemos
is not bad, you know what I mean? But, I
feel like she's has fought better uh
opposition than Caliari. And plus, I
mean,
>> [snorts]
>> Caliari has only had a few fights in the
UFC. She's only won once. She won her
Contender Series and she just come came
off a win against Shauna Bannon. Um it's
five five months ago. So, um I feel like
she's going to be confident going into
this fight, but I think Lucindo's
experience is going to outweigh
Caliari's kind of a submission threat
here. So, I'mma go Lucindo decision.
Keep it keep it real smooth, real easy
winning up this card. And then we got a
freaking banger already, bro. Noah
Gundersen. Uh he's won his last five as
we can see here on Tapology going
against our boy Cody Steel. Now, I don't
know why they're giving Cody every fight
possible outside of the United States
and just be like, "Yo, fight the
farthest away from home." cuz he lives
in Vegas. Uh but Cody Steel coming off a
great win out there in Australia. Uh he
fought uh Don Madge and won via heel
hook in an amazing scramble.
Um his uh his last loss was against
Rauju who is has aged very well. Rauju
is a freaking dog, bro. He's really
good. He just beat Hacran Garcia in
Arizona. And uh that was a fire fight,
bro. That was such a dog fight and Cody
Steel uh he's been throwing them hands
and his jiu-jitsu is really high level.
So, I'm going to go with Cody Steel KO
though. I'm going to I'm going to say he
gets the finish in the first round. Um
you know, the submission threat's there,
so you don't want to go on on the ground
with Cody Steel. And Cody likes to throw
them hands. The only thing that I'm kind
of worried about in this fight is, you
know, if he if he does some of the
mistakes he did in the Rauju fight. The
Rauju fight it felt like he was just
avoiding the game plan. He just really
wanted to get in there and get in a
freaking scrap. And I feel like he if he
follows the game plan, things should
just go according to plan. So, I got
Cody Steel round one. Let's do it, bro.
Now, we have a really good fight here.
Daniel Santos versus Balashi Oki. And
I'm kind of worried, bro, cuz Daniel
Santos, every time I've gone against
him, he's won. And I think I went Santos
against Doo Ho Choi and he got chinned.
So, this is going to be pretty
interesting. Uh Oki is coming off of two
losses in a row against Mason Jones and
Mala Sousa. And man, he beat Michael
Iswel Jr. via decision. So, that's
pretty impressive, I'm not going to lie.
But, I'm going to go Daniel Santos. He
trains out of Brazil, shooto box, you
know, Charles Oliveira reincarnated. So,
we got a little a little Charles "The
Bronze" energy. I'm going Daniel Santos
on this fight right here. Uh I'm going
to go with the submission win though. I
think he hasn't won via submission in a
while. So, if we get this pick right,
we're on to something. We're on to
something. If we don't, then amen. We're
just going to ignore it. We're just
going to ignore it and pretend that it
didn't happen, all right? Moving up the
card, we got Jacob Malkoun versus
Abubakar
right here, bro.
Vagab Ayev, he's going to have a little
bit of a home crowd advantage. Nothing
too crazy, but there's a lot of Russians
on this card. Maybe that's why it's so
stacked, bro. This this card is really,
really good. So, uh I'm going to go with
the first Russian uh fighter to to get
the dub here. I think he he ends up
getting a win here. I'm going to go with
the KO round two. All right? We're going
to go KO round two for Mr. Abubakar
Vagayev. His opponent's pretty decent,
you know, he's coming off of three wins,
but he took GM3 to decision. So, I mean,
that says a lot, you know what I mean?
It's like, you know, but he also won a
he decision with Taurus Finnie. Taurus
Finnie goes for like 50 takedowns a
fight. So, yeah, we're going to we're
going to find out Saturday night. Now,
my first major underdog play of the card
is going to be Colby Covington versus
Azamat Chupanov. I'm going to go with
Colby Covington on this fight. He's a
major underdog and this is going to be
where the separation is, you know, to
see where the card goes. Because it
seems like whenever I start off a card
pretty hot, like we're hitting, hitting,
hitting, and we have one that, you know,
it could go either way,
it it affects the whole entire timeline,
all right? So, we need the timeline to
be correct. And for the timeline to hit
the way we need it to, we need Colby
Covington to freaking win here. We could
go decision, but I don't think it's
going to happen. I think we're going to
get grappled pretty early on. So, I'm
going to go a round two
KO for Mr. Colby Covington. And we'll
see how that plays out, okay? Now, I
have Grant Dawson versus Nurullo
Aliev, the Eagle. And there's a lot of
undefeated fighters here, but the thing
is with the with the undefeated fighters
is like, have they been really put to
the test? Aliev has fought Mike Davis,
Shamrock, and Joel Souls
Souls
Souls Come on now. Grant Dawson has
fought Mateusz Rebecki, Manel Torres,
Diego Ferreira, freaking Rafa Garcia.
Come on. Come on now. So, let's let's
lock in. I think the strength of
schedule has been better of Grant
Dawson, a little bit more experience. I
know he got chin against Torres, but I
think he bounces back. He already got a
dub, so I think he adds another one and
takes away
a O from the bro from Russia. So, I'm
going to go two I'm going to fade two
Russians in this one. This one might be
a little sticky. The Colby [snorts]
Covington one is a little tough, but I'm
going to go with a round three TKO in
this one, all right? We have Abusupiyan
Magomedov versus Kamran Mostafa.
Abusupiyan, I'm taking you, bro. A lot
of people that I've been talking to have
been taking Kamran Mostafa, and I kind
of understand why. Like, he's a
up-and-coming prospect. He has hands.
He's dangerous. He could get finishes.
Um But I I think experience really pays
pays off. And Abusupiyan Magomedov
has the experience. He's 29 and 7 as a
pro. That's a lot of fights. And he's
not like unk status yet. Like he's 36
years old. He just turned 36.
Rozenstruik's not a super young gun,
either, bro. He's like He's almost 32.
So, age difference is there, but the
experience should pay off. And I'm going
to go with the safe play here and go
with Abusupiyan decision here, okay?
We'll see. I know the last few cards
have been like so many finishes. Like
every card is like a record-breaking
record-breaking finish. But I'm really
hoping we get to see some back-and-forth
fights on this card. I think it says a
lot with the matchmaking. And if we're
just getting people getting slimed out
over and over, that's just like, you
know, you got to have a little bit of
balance. You can't have everybody go in
there and get slimed out. Then it's
like, come on, where are Where are the
close fights? The close fights are the
ones we talk about at the end of the
day. At the end of the day. So, let's
let's get it going.
Now,
Nikita Krylov versus Abdul-Rakhman
Yakubov.
You know, Yakubov is from Turkey. He's
undefeated. And I'm going Abdul. I know
I like Nikita Krylov. Don't get me
wrong.
And I was just talking about experience
here, but
um
Nikita Krylov, I feel like he's just
he's just a little chinny.
A little too chinny. And his last fight
with Robert Whittaker and Whittaker he
didn't look the fastest, we could say,
you know what I'm saying? But uh I mean
I think I don't know. I don't know. I'm
I'm really not
super hyped on Nikita Krylov, but he's a
good fighter. I like him, but I think I
think he gets he gets touched up in the
second round by Abdul-Rakhman
Yakubov. Yakubov.
All right. Dominick Reyes versus Azamat
Murzakanov. Okay, okay. Dominick Reyes.
I'm taking you, bro. We locking in here,
bro. I know it's like a little tough
because he has been chin before. 16 and
5. His last loss was against Carlos
Ulberg. And we don't we don't talk about
Ulberg on this channel. If you're on
this channel, we don't talk about this
dude. So, Dominick Reyes,
we are going to bounce back from that
last fight against Johnny Walker. I'm
sorry if you guys watched that. It's
kind of like that SpongeBob episode
where they kind of want to rewind and
take everything back from what you saw.
But Dominick Reyes, we need to lock in
here. And I think he does. Azmat
Murzakanov was undefeated before his
last fight. He's coming off a loss. So
we're going to have to see the changes.
You know, you have an undefeated fighter
walking out there, you're like, I'm
untouchable. No one can freaking beat
me. You just lose, you're like, oh, I
could get beat. And I think Dominick
Reyes is going to capitalize off that
and get the finish. I'm going to go with
a round two round two finish for Mr.
Dominick Reyes. Yep. All right. Main
card, bro. This one is like this yeah,
we need to lock in here. Aaron Pico
versus Loik Keita. Keita. And bro, oh my
gosh. Aaron Pico looked amazing in his
last fight against Patricio Pitbull. The
boxing was so fluid. He looked like he
had his swagger back. You know, he got
chin against Loik Murphy, but we don't
talk about that. But he's going against
a freaking beast. Keita, he's the one
that did the little celebration to slime
some dude out. There's a quick
turnaround for him. He literally fought
a month ago. So quick turnaround,
back-to-back weight cuts, and all that
stuff, but I think if I choose Aaron
Pico,
Keita is going to win. And if I choose
Keita, Pico's going to win. And I want
Pico to win. So I'm going Keita and I'm
a sacrificing a freaking Pico on wrong
here, bro. I really am.
But I think this fight is going to be a
freaking banger, a master class, fight
of the night, almost guaranteed, I
think. We'll see. I don't like
guaranteeing things, but this is this
one going to be good, bro. It's going to
be good.
Um but I don't want to see Pico get
slimed, so I'm going Keita finish, round
two. All right. I think he survives.
Okay, okay, okay. Now we got some random
dude, this guy Volkov versus Kuniyev.
Kuniyev is like, yeah, of course. You
know, Volkov this guy is like 40 and 11.
No one really They know why doesn't even
know who this guy is. So like
bro, Volkov should be champ right now.
I'm being straight up. I'm going
Alexander Volkov. He needs to slime this
dude out in the first round and then
he'll be like, oh, how is this dude not
a champion? Dana White doesn't even know
his own employees, bro. He doesn't even
know them, so I'm like, we got to lock
in. We got to lock him in right now. So,
Dana's going to remember Volkov. He's a
XL Paddy Pimblett and if we see his
cornerman combing his hair, we got it
that's a good sign. It's a great sign,
all right? Moving up the card, there's
only three fights remaining on this
card. Loni Cavanaugh versus Razaman
Temirov
Temirov Temirov. Razamin Temirov and
man, it seemed like Loni a little
chinny. I'm not going to lie, he's just
a a little chinny, bro, but he's he's so
good, bro. He lost to Charles Johnson.
He lost to Royval. He was literally
winning that fight against Royval, but
he's going against Temirov who slimed
out my boy Erceg and it was it was
really sad. So, we're going to have to
get our get back here and I'm going Loni
Cavanaugh and this fight is like almost
guaranteed to end in a finish. I think
Loni stings him on the feet and gets a
submission. What do you guys think? All
right, so I'm going Loni Cavanaugh. We
get chin, we get knocked down a few
times, but we are going to chase that
submission because I I think Temirov has
a chin. Just look at him. He looks very
built and stout, but these guys are like
5'4. So, these guys might have a lot got
a whole lot of money, all that stuff.
So, I got Loni Cavanaugh chin right into
a rear naked choke, ends the show. We
back in the win column, all right? Petr
Yan versus Merab Dvalishvili. This is
the trilogy, all right? It went 1-1.
Merab won the first one. Petr Yan got
the second one. Who wins this one? Now,
this one
I got I got a controversial take, all
right? I know I know Petr Yan is the one
with the the most skills. He just came
off of winning against Merab. Like he
looked incredible. Like no one could
beat him. These guys are two
supercomputers going against each other,
but this dude Petr Yan had a 9-hour
surgery in January, okay? We're in
October, 8 months. 8 months, 9-hour back
surgery?
You know, I'm no I'm no doctor, but hey
man, if you have a surgery on your
knees, on your back, on your neck, the
back surgery is like the most like, you
know,
you don't play around with your back,
you know what I'm saying? And I think
Merab he fought four times the last time
four times in the year. He fought Petr
Yan. Maybe overworked, had a few
injuries going into that last fight. I'm
not trying to make excuses for Merab,
but he's rested up, he's fueled up, his
cardio is good. He might be a little
chinny to the body, but I think Merab
gets this win via decision. And I think
my hot take is that after this fight,
after Merab wins, everybody's going to
be like, "This dude Petr Yan had back
surgery." And they're not even They're
not even thinking about No one's even
talking about it. Like, it's going to
make complete sense after the fight if
Merab wins. If he loses, then it's like,
"Zo, come on, what are you talking
about? This is Petr Yan, bro. Like, back
surgery don't matter. It don't matter if
it's the spinal, you know?" But, Merab
I'm rolling with Merab, bro. Rolling
with Merab. Decision. He's the underdog.
That's just That's just how I go.
>> [music]
>> You guys hear that? Oh my god. Yeah, I'm
taking Volk on this one, bro. Movsar
Evloev, the king of canceling fights.
Uh there's no way he could be champion,
bro. If If he has If he has the belt, oh
my gosh, I'm going to be so sad cuz Volk
is going to retire if he loses. And then
we're going to have like four or five
scheduled fights and only like one of
them happens. He's going to fight like
once a year.
And then we're just not going to see any
finishes, bro. We're just going to see
Like, I'm a fan of wrestling, I'm a fan
of grappling, but bro, come on. Like,
that's so many decisions. We haven't got
a finish. Like, let's lock in. But if if
Movsar finishes Volk, bro, I'm going to
be so pissed. I might just like smash a
TV. I'm not going to lie. But Alexander
Volkanovski, Alexander the Great, is
going to really show levels in this
fight. And I guarantee we're going to be
shocked. And anybody who doubted Volk,
bro, come on. This is Volk, brah. This
is Volk. Yeah, we got chin against Ilia.
Yeah, we got chin against Islam. But
this is Movsar, bro. This is Movsar. And
bro, I know it's tough.
It's tough cuz Movsar, he really is
good. And honestly, I saw him in person
and I'm like, "Damn, this fool Movsar
really got low-key He He got aura
low-key." I'm not going to lie. But I
still got Volk, bro. I still got Volk. I
still think that his experience at the
age of 38 is different from other
38-year-olds, you know?
I'm trying I'm really trying to convince
myself to be like, "It's going to be
okay, bro. Like we're going to be all
right. Like we going we going go through
the fire. We going go through the pain.
But damn, if Volk loses this fight, bro,
I'm going to I'm going to be pissed,
bro. I'm going to be pissed. Straight up
with you cuz I'm like, damn, it's over.
It's over, bro. It's like seeing the
ghost just vanish in the freaking
Avengers Endgame type stuff. So, it's
not
We going to be locked in for this fight.
Let me know what you guys think on these
picks.
Um I took quite a few underdogs on this
card right here. I'm not going to lie.
But I am pretty confident that this card
is going to be an absolute banger. So, I
hope you guys are doing good. Thank you
guys for 5,000 subscribers. We're
actually starting to do good on our
freaking videos, bro. Um I start I'm
starting to feel a little bit more
comfortable like being myself and
um I just want to thank you guys for
just, you know, watching the videos. If
you guys are just at home watching them
or you have in the background.
Um yeah, I I appreciate you guys so much
and I I can't wait to produce some great
content for you guys. So, we just had
Joe Pyfer.
The video should be somewhere around
here. We just went to his gym in San
Francisco, got to see what a UFC
training camp is like. Plus, we had like
a freaking video podcast with Cody Steel
in December of last year. Go check that
out as well. Stay tuned, bro. We really
we about to start freaking locking it in
even more, bro. So, I thank you guys so
much and I'll catch you guys on the next
episode, bro. Some insane collabs coming
in. Some insane ones. Let go.
