Are Apex Events Actually Worth Going To?
Alonzo Hernandez · Watch on YouTube · Generated with SnapSummary · 2026-05-05

00:00 Welcome to today's new episode, ladies

00:03 and gentlemen. We will be reviewing the

00:05 UFC Apex in Las Vegas, or shall we say

00:10 the UFC Meta Apex. Now, the question

00:13 that I feel like a lot of people have,

00:15 is it worth it? We'll talk about

00:17 pricing. We'll talk about comfortability

00:19 when it comes to the seating, the

00:22 atmosphere inside the arena itself. Also

00:25 talked a little bit about the food and

00:27 just the overall experience as a whole.

00:29 So, make sure to hit that like button,

00:31 subscribe, and let's get started, ladies

00:33 and gentlemen. Now, we'll get into the

00:35 details of the Apex tickets. So, the

00:37 cheapest seats that you could probably

00:39 find range from $250 to $400 a piece.

00:42 Maybe that's sitting on the upper

00:43 section. The cool thing about it is

00:45 there's really no bad seats in the Apex.

00:47 We sat in like the front row on the

00:49 side, right, where the fighters kind of

00:51 did their their walkouts and stuff.

00:52 Perfect seating. The height was just

00:54 right. The thing that I wasn't the

00:56 biggest fan of was just the seats in

00:58 general. There was definitely not enough

00:59 space to sit comfortably. That's one of

01:02 my knocks uh for the seating in general,

01:04 just because I felt like there should

01:05 have been a little bit more space

01:06 between seats. Now, the Apex used to be

01:09 VIP only where it was like $1,500 a

01:11 seat. It was only like friends and

01:12 family, only a certain amount of people

01:14 could get in there. The cool thing is

01:15 that they expanded the seating, so

01:17 people like us, you know, the general

01:19 public were able to uh get some seats

01:21 and actually attend those events. So,

01:23 it's a little bit, you know, kind of

01:24 low-key. you know, I'm not really trying

01:26 to, you know, have this thing go viral

01:27 or anything just because I'm trying to

01:29 go to more Apex events, but if you guys

01:31 are interested, uh, you know, this is

01:32 kind of the the cool thing about it is a

01:34 lot more people are going to be able to

01:36 go attend to these cards. One thing I do

01:38 wish, you know, a little side tangent,

01:41 bro, bring the hype. If you're going to

01:43 go to the Apex event, cheer for each

01:45 fight, bro. That I was literally like I

01:47 felt like I was in a library during some

01:49 fights.

01:49 >> That's why I turned

01:59 And I was like kind of confused. I'm

02:00 like, does nobody want to cheer or

02:02 something? Like what's going on? Like I

02:03 understand there's coaches, there's

02:05 family members, and you don't want to

02:07 start any drama or anything like that,

02:08 but just like what's wrong with

02:09 cheering? You go, yo. Oh, hey. Like, I

02:12 love doing that stuff. I'm a fan. I'm a

02:14 I'm a fan at heart. So, it was a I had

02:16 to contain myself a little bit, you

02:17 know, as soon as the event started going

02:19 and there was a little bit more punches

02:20 being thrown. They're missing pizza.

02:22 Carico's freaking

02:26 upset $8 to 30 like that.

02:30 >> We rich.

02:31 >> I was able to let loose a little bit,

02:33 but it felt like yo, like come on, dog.

02:35 Like, let's let's get let's get active,

02:37 bro. Let's bring the energy into the

02:38 arena. I feel like that's what the

02:39 fighters feed off of as well. So, just

02:42 bringing that little bit more juice

02:43 would be cool as well, you know? Just a

02:45 little little side tangent there. Um,

02:47 we'll go into um the food as well. The

02:49 food is really good and honestly they

02:52 have good food. Good prices. Way better

02:54 than the T-Mobile Arena. This is like

02:55 $14 for a Wagu burger. Pizza is pretty

02:58 good too. What you give the burger out

03:00 of 10? Like a eight.

03:03 >> Not a huge line. Good foods. Good

03:06 variety. They have snacks, candies,

03:08 sodas.

03:08 >> I'll pop up the menu.

03:09 >> I'll pop up the menu right here cuz my

03:11 bro said so.

03:12 >> Uh the pricing was really good compared

03:14 to the T-Mobile. We've been at the

03:15 T-Mobile a few times. uh you're going to

03:17 spend $30 to $40 on some nachos, which

03:20 is kind of insane. Um especially if

03:22 you're going to a fight, you're already

03:23 dropping a huge bag. Might as well just

03:25 drop a huge bag in the concession. But

03:26 over here at the Apex, food is really

03:28 affordable, which I appreciated. And the

03:30 food was a solid quality as well. It was

03:32 no like cafeteria food. One of my

03:34 favorite perks of going to the Apex

03:37 event was being able to run in to UFC

03:39 fighters. Okay, so we're literally

03:41 grabbing a poster and my dad's calling

03:43 my name like, "What's going on?" And I

03:45 see Morat. I'm like, "No freaking way."

03:47 >> We just ran into a goat right now. How

03:50 we doing? How we doing?

03:51 >> The machine right here just just

03:53 chilling, like just having a good time.

03:54 We asked for a picture, put it up right

03:56 here, and I was like, "Oh my god, we

03:58 just ran into a freaking legend

04:00 already." Like legit a legend. He was

04:02 just walking around. Uh he was part of

04:03 Aljo's team, you know, he's really close

04:05 with Alamine Sterling. Got a picture and

04:07 also ran into Anthony Hernandez while

04:09 refilling on a Diet Coke. So I was like,

04:11 "No freaking way." Said what's up to

04:12 him.

04:12 >> What do you got for today for the

04:14 fights? Uh, for which one?

04:15 >> For the main event.

04:17 >> Or are you here to support somebody?

04:18 >> I was just Max and now I'm just kind of

04:20 watching.

04:20 >> Okay.

04:22 >> Just chilling now, giving him the

04:23 [ __ ] experiences. Birthday. Yeah.

04:25 >> Oh, yeah. Happy birthday, bro.

04:29 >> Your dad's a G, bro.

04:30 >> He was like super cool, really chill.

04:31 Like, if you get to meet Anthony

04:32 Hernandez, you know, super cool guy,

04:34 down to earth. And I even called my

04:35 brother and my dad like, "Yo, if you

04:37 want to say what's up, Anthony

04:37 Hernandez, he's right here." And his son

04:39 was there. Uh it was it was awesome to

04:41 be able to run into uh people that I've

04:44 I've watched I'm huge fans of and

04:45 actually have real conversations. The

04:48 only thing that um I would say would be

04:50 a little bit better is if there was a

04:52 little bit more fan interaction. There's

04:54 really not a lot of music, you know, no

04:56 there's no like jumbotron or anything

04:57 like that. So in between fights is a

04:59 little quiet. You know, you get to use

05:01 the restroom and and do your stuff

05:02 there, but there's no like, yo, like

05:04 hope you guys are doing good. Like Bruce

05:05 Buffer is like you guys having a good

05:06 time. Like yeah, we're having a good

05:08 time. Like that's literally the stuff

05:09 that I feel like they could just, you

05:10 know, it doesn't really cost a lot of

05:11 money to do production-wise. But if

05:13 they, you know, spend a little bit more

05:14 time effort, you know, to to help the

05:17 the fans feel good during the event, I

05:19 feel like it would do a lot, especially

05:21 uh since a lot of the the audio gets

05:23 picked up on their on their broadcast.

05:25 You know, it'd be cool if you had, you

05:26 know, a lot of pop from the fans. You

05:27 know, it would help out a ton when it

05:29 comes to the vibe and energy. Fights,

05:30 they're super high energy. They're

05:32 violent. A scrap's a scrap. So, at the

05:34 end of the day, if you're going with

05:35 your homies, going with your friends,

05:37 uh, just go and have a good time, eat

05:39 some good food, have fun, and keep the

05:41 vibe up. You know, I feel like just

05:43 letting it loose, and just I'm not

05:44 saying you got to throw a beer inside

05:46 the cage, you know, during the fight,

05:47 but, you know, let loose a little bit,

05:49 have fun. Um, I feel like that is

05:50 something that I feel like there's uh

05:52 some room to improve when it comes to

05:54 that type of stuff. If I were to

05:55 recommend it, of course, 100%. Um, I

05:57 definitely would go to an event. Now, it

05:59 just depends on who you go with. You

06:01 know, if you're going with a huge fan,

06:03 you're going with your homies, you're

06:04 going with your family, you love fights,

06:06 it doesn't matter who's fighting at the

06:08 end of the day. A fight's a fight. My

06:09 brother told me that. And it's like

06:11 that's that is that's it. It's simple as

06:13 that. A fight's a fight. Literally,

06:15 anything can happen. You can't predict

06:17 if there's going to be five knockouts,

06:18 10 knockouts, a submission, uh DQ. You

06:21 can't predict any of that. You know, you

06:22 see talent. There's sometimes there's

06:24 not a lot of talent, but there's great

06:25 fights. I didn't know uh I Alan or I

06:28 Barney Wesky before they fought on the

06:30 early prelims. That's literally the best

06:32 fight I've ever seen in my entire life.

06:34 I didn't know him beforehand. That's

06:35 pretty much as good as it's going to

06:37 get. You know, you're really up close.

06:38 The lighting's really good. The sound's

06:39 really good. You get to hear, you know,

06:41 the coaches coaches talk in the corner.

06:43 You get to hear like calf kicks,

06:45 punches, uh, takedowns and stuff like

06:47 that. It's insane. Overall, I would give

06:50 it out of 10, I would give it a solid

06:52 8.2 out of 10. Say if you have, you

06:54 know, one or two really good um, say

06:56 like a really solid co-main, it would

06:58 just make a world of a difference. Plus

07:00 those little adjustments, I feel like it

07:01 could be like an easy thing where he

07:03 could just take the homies and have a

07:04 great time. And even after the fights,

07:06 we're waiting for a Uber and I saw this

07:08 dude looking down, but he had a crutch

07:10 and I'm like, there's no way we're

07:12 standing next to Carlos Oberg and yep,

07:14 it was Carlos Oberg, bro. And even

07:16 though that fight with Yuri Pasca broke

07:18 my heart, um I was able to talk to him,

07:20 shook his hand, and uh talk to Carlos

07:22 Oberg, just like a one-on-one

07:23 conversation. And it was kind of insane

07:25 to think about. And those are the things

07:27 that you wouldn't be able to experience

07:29 at a pay-per-view or a numbered event

07:31 type of card. You know, those guys,

07:32 they're out of there. But, uh, yeah, it

07:34 was cool. So, I hope you guys enjoy this

07:36 type of video. A little bit different. I

07:37 wanted to bring some value with you guys

07:39 instead of just having like a vlog. And,

07:40 uh, yeah, make sure you guys like,

07:42 subscribe, and stay tuned for more. I

07:43 appreciate you guys for spending the

07:45 time with me, and I hope you guys have a

07:47 great day. We out. Peace.
