I'm excited to talk to you, bro. Um, I
met you for the first time week one of
Dana White Contender Series. Able to get
to know you a little bit more. Um, but I
did hear that you are a runner for Dana
White. You kind of been working under
the UFC. I know you come from like a
boxing background, did wrestling a
little bit growing up. I kind of want to
know a little bit more about your your
background, how you got introduced to
martial arts, and then eventually how
you were able to find that job.
>> Word. Um, yeah, bro. Originally I got
introduced to martial arts. Uh like when
I really got introduced to martial arts
was from my friends uh family now uh
Noah Williams, John Williams. John
Williams is my manager with Vayner
Sports and uh No Williams like my
brother. I lived with them and um
they're like my second family. But yeah,
they uh they worked with the UFC for a
long time. Their pops is like a vet with
the UFC when it comes to the security.
and uh he got me to work with the
security team too like a few years ago
and stuff and like that's how I kind of
merged into the Danish Runner position
um when Danish Runner quit. But yeah,
bro, like they uh they started my
journey over at Fight Capital when it
came to like the groundwork and the Muay
Thai like I threw my first kicks with
them like those type of like steps.
>> Wow. So you did you did come from like a
boxing background. Your father is a like
professional
>> Hall of Fame. Yeah, he was Hall of Fame
of New Jersey, New York, New Jersey
boxer. My uncle Eddie Mustafa Muhammad
was from Bronx, uh, New York, and he was
a Hall of Fame boxer. Uh, Uncle Hassan
had boxing pedigree. Uncle, um, Uncle
Mike had a boxing pedigree. My brothers
had all boxing backgrounds. Like,
everybody in my family throws hands. So,
did you feel any like outside pressure
to kind of like go towards this route
because your family has that kind of
like pedigree
>> at first? Actually, yeah. Yeah. Because
um I felt like I boxed because of them.
Like I boxed because I didn't start
boxing until my brother Raheem started
boxing and that's my closest brother to
me. And when he started boxing and I
seen him doing it, we're we get fights
at home. So, it's like, oh, I gotta I
gotta freaking get with this brother cuz
you know, just because I'm looking up to
him, too. And so I really kind of
started just for the wrong reasons. Like
I didn't start it for my love and for my
passion. And I just started it just cuz
of their they were doing it. And then um
yeah, that's I'm happy I wrestled in
high school because that gave me like a
foundation for what I was like looking
forward to in my future. And I just did
that off of like I think actually my
brother Raheem wrestled a little bit
too. So I kind of was just following his
footsteps. I was just trying to be like
big bro. Yeah, I think I think growing
up, especially if you have siblings,
like you don't really realize how many
how much your actions influence the
people around you.
>> Such an impact. For sure.
>> So, like that's that's kind of what I
wanted to know. No, just to know know a
little bit more like where you came up
from like you're from Las Vegas,
correct?
>> Born and raised. Yeah.
>> Born and raised in Las Vegas. How was it
like the dynamic growing up in Vegas,
you know, now, you know, the fight
capital of the world, you know, in the
UFC. Did you kind of see this kind of
playing out the way it is right now?
>> Absolutely. because uh my uncle my dad
being like still trainers of boxers and
like my uncle Mustafa was like coaching
half the money team at one point and
every single holiday it was just
fighting was my life like it's always
been my life it's always been around
Mayweather fights for holidays you know
what [snorts] I mean like we um this is
nothing new to me I feel like this is
something I was definitely born into
>> yeah and this is [clears throat]
something I really wanted to share with
the people I know a lot more people are
starting uh tune in to the Dana White
Contender Series. The fights have been
absolutely amazing, but what is it kind
of like behind the scenes, you know,
being there at the Dana White Contender
Series as kind of like a person that was
working for the UFC? What What are some
things that you've noticed and that is
going to help you uh with your
performance week?
>> God damn, bro. It's like I I've said
this many times in other interviews, but
it's like it's another day in the
office. like it's uh I've worked so many
contender series now and worked so many
fights and been around the scene so
much. It's and it's it's literally
another day in office. It's like um I'm
really used to the scene. I'm used to
the whole entire um the setup and how
they run things. Like everything looks
it feels like home. I worked I worked at
all the fights as a bartender or whether
Dana needed me to run and or I was a
host and helping people to their seats.
Like I've done everything in that arena
from security to that.
>> Uh-huh. And what was funny is that last
night I was actually watching uh
Spider-Man and I feel like you kind of
have like a cool story going on here
just because yeah I feel like a lot of
the UFC is going to start pushing your
your narrative that you know you're
working for the UFC and you know um you
know Dana White's your boss and stuff
but the other side is like the fighter
you know how is the relationship between
you and Dana just like as an employee
and then as a fighter do you feel like
it's it's different? Um, yeah. Yeah. No,
but it's not it's like I try to keep my
character or it's I'm not even trying to
keep my character. I just keep my
character who I am in the ring and who I
am outside the ring the same exact
person. I don't try to switch anything
up. Uh, and I feel like Dana, he
recognizes that real recognize real when
it comes to us because it's I never had
to play play a part around him or be
someone I'm not around him and he's
always respected me and had love for me
in that category.
>> Yeah. And just uh just seeing you
getting ready for the Dana White
Contender Series, I feel like the
stories are what kind of make the the
you know the the people kind of tune in
and really kind of see where you're
from. Like what are some things that um
are not necessarily shared about your
story that the people really don't know?
>> I don't even know. I feel like I share
so much of myself. Uh yeah, like I feel
like I just pour my heart out and wear
my heart on my sleeve every single
fight. I'm a loving person. Everybody
knows me for being really nice and
loving and it's just not um I don't I
don't know. I'm just doing what I love
to do and I feel like I'm just I'm I'm
reaping what I sow what I enjoy.
>> Right. And you you train out a freestyle
MMA. What what made you uh kind of like
what is there like a story of how you
were introduced to that gym
specifically? started over there with uh
I was just doing as soon as I started
working with the UFC I was with Johnny
Parsons uh UFC 128 I was working with
him my Muay Thai at Syndicate at the
time and I just had two Muay Thai fights
just trying to get my foot in the door
of just getting some kicks like hands
and feet and um as soon as I started
working with him I freaking got to start
working with UFC and then I told my
manager my big brother Johnny at the
time I said hey can I um John Williams,
Johnny. I asked him, I said, "I want to
do MMA." Like, "What what route you
think I should take?" Since he was
managing all these UFC fighters with
Boehner and um he just said, "Let me
hook you up with one of my guys, Vance
Vance Lrod. He's another or another MMA
fighter out of Las Vegas." And um he has
a big company called Moroi Medicinal.
And that that's what pushed him. So, he
doesn't really have to fight as much,
but uh he helped me at Freestyle. He was
my first sponsor. So, he was one of the
first people that sponsored me and
brought me to Freestyle MMA and
introduced me to Go Core. And uh I wind
up seeing a bunch of like high school
homies over there, too. So, it was kind
of like it was kind of cool. Home uh
reunion.
>> So, it's like home. [clears throat] I
apologize. I I like feel like I'm
getting a little sick.
>> No, you're good, bro. Me, too. I had
like a tickle in my throat.
>> Yeah. Yeah. So, I'm just trying I'm just
trying to lock in. But, yeah, I just
feel like um your story is really cool.
Just like knowing that you're from, you
know, uh Vegas, you know, you got the
home crowd. I just got my ticket.
yesterday. So, I'm really excited to get
out there to week nine and support and
just uh really try to see, you know,
where the um where the people could
really connect with you. I feel like you
are a very genuine person from from what
I what I've seen and it seems like you
like a lot of different things. Like it
seems like you're a big uh big fan of
Juice World. Uh is there any like any
favorite songs that you like going going
to especially like during like fight
week? I always wonder what the fighters
kind of like listen to.
>> I'm like I'm all over the place on fight
week. Like if I if I just scroll through
my cuz half the music I don't even know
the names. I just like I'll hear
something on TikTok and I'll add it to a
playlist.
>> Exactly. Yeah. Exactly. [laughter]
>> But I'm like I'm big on Juice World. I
like Empty Out My Pockets. Empty out
your pockets. I need all that. That song
right there is my my stuff. Uh I go,
bro, I'm like I'm big on being outside.
I love hikes. I love being I love
climbing. I'm an adrenaline junkie
obviously fighter. So, I mean I mean I
don't do no like motorcycle riding or
nothing, but I I might free solo some
mountains.
>> That's still pretty crazy, bro.
>> It's like Payton Talba, you know? He be
like doing the craziest.
>> That's the homie. He's crazy as hell.
Yeah, he likes to climb buildings and do
a bunch of crazy stuff he shouldn't be.
>> Yeah, for sure. No, especially if you
check out his YouTube. It's like, damn,
bro, that's crazy.
>> And speaking speaking of Payton Talbet,
um you're also signed by Tanor. Like,
how were you introduced to them? And
have you been to the HQ and and trained
there before?
>> Yeah. Yeah, I was there a few times this
year already. Um, Pat Tenori has been
like an amazing amazing amazing mentor
and sensei big brother freaking like
Pat's Pat's amazing. He's done amazing
things for me um by just bringing me to
his home, introducing me to all these
amazing people in D-Rod's camps,
Payton's camp uh camp over there, um my
own camp over there at HQ. And um yeah,
he's just like an amazing person, open
arms to a lot of people and and he's
been awesome, bro. I'm over rocking his
stuff right now. Born and raised.
>> Yeah, their stuff is really sick, bro. I
always wanted to check out the gym just
because they have so many like great
athletes like you mentioned, you know,
Payton, the Routollo brothers.
>> Yeah, Routollo's trained with them over
there. Like
>> damn, y'all are some like ninjas, bro.
Like a bunch of them, bro.
>> And you never know who's going to be in
there when you walk in. I swear.
>> Exactly. Like I I like I seen David Cho
there a few times just like what the
hell the hell is David Cho doing
[laughter] or whatever. Yeah, I think
that's like that's what's cool about
mixed martial arts is it brings all
different types of people and you know
you never know who you're like aligned
with, you know. I feel like
>> it's love. It's love. I love this sport.
>> Yeah. And and what made you fall in love
with the sport? Like of course like
there's like you know I feel like it's
just a high-risk type of thing, you
know? Everything happens so fast. But um
what what made you fall in love with
mixed martial arts? Um, I honestly feel
like it's the having control but having
no control at the same time of your
life. And um, I feel like that's same
how I look at climbing and how I look at
just life in general. You have so much
control at the same time as you have no
control. So you have to accept what you
can and control what you can't control.
And um, yeah, Mer, it's I fell in love
with that. I fell in love with finding
the better version of me every single
fight after just going to the deepest
version of myself at every single camp
and um just yeah finding the better
person of myself every single time I I
participated martial arts.
>> When you say you had no control, what
was a moment where you let go of control
and things just worked out perfect?
>> Every fight, bro. Every fight I let go
and just allow my training and allow
Yeah. all the work that I put in and my
love for the sport just to come out and
show for itself and that's the art for
me.
>> Yeah. And I was actually listening to
your opponent's name Aussie Martin.
Correct?
>> Word. Yeah.
>> Yeah. So I was listening to an interview
of his uh of his and he was saying that
you know he's not getting um he's not
going to get the appreciation from the
people just because you know you're
working under the UFC. Do
[clears throat] you do you take this
kind of stuff like in mind that other
people are kind of just like um seeing
kind of your situation kind of thinking
that you're going to have like an upper
hand because of that?
>> Yeah. I mean, yes and no. But at the
same time, it's like you don't run these
miles, you don't spar these rounds, and
you don't work as hard as I do. So, it's
nobody can tell me what I can and can't
do.
>> Mhm. And I'm I'm assuming that you're
going to have a a heavy crowd over there
in Las Vegas just knowing that you're
from there. So, just how how important
is is it for you for just having the
support and your family and your coaches
and friends to be there in your biggest,
you know, kind of moments in in your
career, in your life?
>> It's a blessing, bro. But it's no
different from the first fight cuz
everybody that's going to be there at
this one was there at the first one. And
uh that's the most important thing to me
is uh I know that there's real ones
around me and I know that they all
support me from the jump and I just see
the love is real. I know it's real.
>> Yeah. And one question I was like very
curious about was just kind of like the
relationship with uh how you and your
father maybe as like a coach just
because you know growing up he's a Hall
of Fame boxer. You're a fighter who you
know you did boxing did some Muay Thai
did some wrestling but um how is it kind
of just like um you know making him
proud at the same time just doing doing
you at the end of the day? Um, it's it's
super important to me to make my father
proud, but at the same time, it's like
uh it's like I don't want to say it in a
negative aspect, but it was a quote I
read in a book. I think it was the book
Aware the Superior Man. He said um
living your father was dead. And I don't
say it as obviously I want my father to
die, but I'm not living for my father's
dreams. I'm not living for my father's
aspirations. And it's a beautiful thing
that I'm able to look at it from that
aspect and not have a pressure from my
father's wants and needs compared to
what I want and need for myself.
>> Yeah. And it's been it's been an amazing
relationship with that cuz my dad's not
ever trying to tell me what I can and
can't do in this sports martial art
because he comes from a whole different
sport as well. And he allows Gokore to
take full control of the coaching and
stuff too. He's just like it's it's a
great dynamic we got.
>> Nice. And have you always been into kind
of like uh self-improvement and reading
books and stuff like that or is that
kind of something you picked up, you
know, along the way with martial arts?
>> Definitely something I've always I've
always been into it just because my f my
family and fighting has always been in
my family and my dad has always been on
me about reading and staying uh mentally
strong and just mentally sharp ahead of
these these big moments because mental
is what's most important when it comes
down to it. and like getting ready be
like getting ready before a fight. What
helps you stay focused and and centered
throughout those kind of like those
feelings of like chaoticness and stuff
like that?
>> Um just train, you know, keep my fune
clean, keep my house clean, you know,
like take my dogs on a walk, you know.
Yeah. Keep it chill. Like I don't cheat
I don't like
>> this Aussie fight is no different than
my first amateur fight. Like and I'm not
saying it as in like I'm not belittling
it as anything like that. I'm just just
treating it as what it is. It's another
fight, bro. And I trust my skills. I
trust I got here for a reason. So, I'm
just going to go out there and show what
I've been putting in.
>> Yeah. And you do have like this look
sometimes when you look at the camera,
you have your eyes wide open. Does that
mean anything or is that kind of just
something you do for fun? I see Payton
do it sometimes, too, where I'm like, I
wonder what that
>> funny gave me the idea actually, but
it's like when I started doing it, I saw
it as like a tunnel vision. And um yeah,
it's just tunnel vision. Once you see
those killer eyes, you know I'm tunnel
vision locked in.
>> Yeah. And you mentioned you mentioned
that you do like, you know, hikes and
climbs. Is there any other things that
you like doing just to, you know, keep
your mind off fighting or kind of just
help you out with uh, you know, I feel
like actually we're speaking of pain, I
feel like Payne has a lot of hobbies
that kind of help with his fight like
the Guitar Hero and doing other stuff
like pattern recognition, all that
stuff, too. Is there anything that you
like kind of messing around with?
>> Let's see. Yeah. I mean, yeah, I hop on
my skateboard sometimes. I ride my bike
everywhere. freaking dude I feel like
I'm always I'm always dancing in the
gym. It's like I'm always getting down,
bro. Like I play a lot of video games.
I'm over I got my Xbox on right now. I
was just playing some Black Ops 6.
>> Um yeah, bro. I just I just be kicking
and fighting. I just
>> That's a pretty sick lifestyle, though.
Like I was thinking like that's pretty
sick. Like you you fight and
>> Yeah, that's pretty sick.
>> So freaking blessed, dude. I'm happy I
chose this path. And has there been any
like uh you know things along your
journey that kind of like you know maybe
I did I I do remember like you had an
interview where you uh injured your your
eye and kind of like halted you a little
bit like um
>> what is there any like um things that
have gotten in the way like that or kind
of like maybe maybe if you had second
thoughts or kind of like gave you a
tough time?
>> Absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah. Like when
I I broke my nose in my orbital when
sparring I was sparring Leon Shabbazian.
It's crazy cuz I was sparring like Chris
Curtis, Leon Shiobazi, and Eon Coutaba.
And then like Leon's the one that hurt
me with the knee. And like Eonaba was
the one that was like trying to take my
head off. [snorts] Crazy, bro. That that
I freaking got hurt. And he didn't even
try to hurt me. It was just some
>> Yeah, most of them.
>> Yeah, it was it was ridiculous, bro. But
it just fractured my orbital and broke
my nose. Uh took me out of like my
fourth amateur fight and then um or
Yeah, it took me out my fifth amateur
fight. So, I wasn't able to have my
fifth one, but then I just wind up going
pro, taking some more time off. And I
really needed that because it put me in
a perspective for like it just put me in
to change my perspective like as in like
not to look at the downside of things
and to like to change my perspective of
what more I could learn. And then I went
into had my camp with D-Rod and he was
training for the Kevin Holland fight or
the the Ponibio fight. And
>> that was a crazy crazy fight.
>> Well, the Holland one too was crazy.
Yeah, we we had both camps back to back
together. It was a really good time,
bro. Like, that was a popping time. So,
that was Dro, shout out to Dro, bro. He
gave me a lot of um a lot of good work
for my pro career and like what to look
forward to.
>> Nice. I mean, I think it's a lot easier
said than done to kind of look at the
bright side, but like being put in that
situation, say if you were there right
now, it's like it's hard to kind of have
that mindset, you know? It's like, damn.
Absolutely.
>> Like, yeah. So just, you know, in
hindsight, of course, it's a lot easier,
but um, you know, just just for the
people out there who, you know, maybe
they have a little little bump in the
road. You know what I'm saying? Like
just to have faith and kind of just
like, you know, see the, you know, the
light at the end of the tunnel.
>> Good.
>> Look at Sean Shar.
>> Yeah.
Fighter right there, baby.
>> Dude, that was insane. I was there at
that fight. I'm not going to lie, bro. I
didn't I was I was not thinking that was
going to happen, bro.
>> Dog, I was so geeked. [laughter]
So deep.
>> I I could only imagine, bro, as soon as
the fight started, I just didn't know
what was going to happen. I just knew
there was going to be something like a
knockout, right?
>> But oh my gosh, bro. Everybody was That
was
>> That was the only time where I just I
didn't believe what was going on in
front of me.
>> Yeah. I was like, "Wait, wait, wait,
wait." Yeah.
>> Yeah. Shout out. Congratulations, bro.
Shock the world.
>> Shock the world.
>> And um I was also curious. was like,
"What what are some things that people
don't know about Dana White?" I think
you mentioned on week one that you like
you just stocked his fridge. Like what's
his like go-to drink or like what are
some cool things that that people don't
really
>> um I mean I Dane is Dana is a normal
guy, bro. He's
>> he's a chill dude.
>> Yeah, he's hella chill. Hella chill.
Dana is cool as hell. He's always like
down to shoot the with you. Um dude
could talk about anything. It's a
superpower of his. Uh he likes I think
he likes orange bangs. Orange Bangster.
It's like the the
Yeah, it's that bang energy drink, but
it's the one from that one like the
Kaisenette in his voice like when they
made like their one bang.
>> I don't know. I
>> I forgot. Okay. Okay.
>> It's like orange bang. Yeah, he like he
loves the orange bangs and
>> I think cherry vanilla too. But yeah,
dude's dude's normal. He drinks a lot of
water. I don't even know. I fill this
fridge with so much boss water every
single day.
>> Okay.
>> But he got a few different fridges, too.
Um, I fill up his protein drinks, too,
in his gym. Dude works out every single
day.
>> Respect.
>> Yeah, dude. He's a He's a tank. He's in
there getting it in. Whether he's boxing
or he's lifting weights.
>> Yeah, he was supposed Who was he
supposed to fight? He was supposed to
fight someone in a boxing match.
>> I think Vtor a long time ago. Was it
Vtor? Was it
>> Was it Oscar?
>> Wonder or No. Or was it?
>> Oh, yeah. Yeah, it might have been
Wonder.
>> Yeah, maybe.
>> It might have been. It might have been
one of those guys.
>> Yeah. Yeah. D could throw them hands,
too. Yeah. You know what I mean? I was
just I was just curious like if he was
like, you know, a diet diet soda enjoyed
or something like that. Something like
we don't know.
>> Yeah, he have like a Coke Zero. That's
>> that's his number one. He go to Coke
Zero.
>> Nice. Nice.
>> Yeah, he's not a big soda drinker. I
don't think though or candy eater like
his candy. I know the c I stock his
candy bowls, but I know it's not him
eating all that candy.
>> Somebody else
candy. Okay. Okay. I was just wondering
if you had any like crazy stories cuz I
know like he likes uh you know or if you
have been been around him around the the
blackjack table. I feel like those would
be pretty fun.
>> I try to stay away, bro. Like, and uh
Nicole does a really good job at keeping
me like at a safe distance with like
what what I got to be around and how
late I got to stay out cuz Dana likes to
party. And um yeah, it's just only crazy
stories I have like is just like
running, grabbing or things that I do
for him that are like random would be
like grabbing him in and out like
protein style in and out like randomly
or going to get like I've told the story
before when I went ran and grabbed a
fighter PlayStation or Xbox, I'm not
sure remember what it was,
>> but um after a bad decision that Dana
didn't agree with or it was either Dan
or Hunter, but one of them didn't agree
with and they wanted to make his
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. down. So, yeah. [laughter]
>> I wanted to ask you too, like you, you
being from Vegas, like what are some
spots to eat? Cuz I I do go to Vegas
pretty often, but I try to like avoid
like the strip and just like, you know,
all the people there. I just feel like
what what are some things, you know, the
people listening, like this has got to
be like a little treat. Like, if you got
any cool cool spots to
>> to check out.
>> We talking about like foods. Bro, I'm
such a foodie. Especially when you're
talking to a fighter in camp. I'm like,
>> "Oh, man. I apologize. Actually, now I
think about it. That's that's a tough
question, but
>> bro, I got hella food spots, though."
>> Yeah. What's What's your go-to? Like,
you know, you would you would like to
just to hit regular. You can't go wrong.
>> Um, I can't go wrong, bro. There's a
It's a sandwich spot in the uncommons.
It's called Alenteio, and it's like
Italian sandwich spot. Super fresh.
Like, everything is super good. The
bread's super good. Um, there's also a
spot. I'm sure you heard of Prince
Street Pizza and it's in the Durango
Casino.
>> I hear the Durango I hear the Durango
just has like really good stuff.
>> Oh, it's the best food court in Vegas.
>> Wow.
>> Like the they burgers, Prince Street
Pizza. Um, dude, I'm over here.
>> Yeah, I apologize, bro. [laughter]
>> I just had Well, check it out, though.
If I if I go to any of those spots, I'll
let you know. Definitely give you give
you my solid review just because, you
know, Vegas is
>> it is a interesting place. You know, you
get people from all over all over the
place in just one spot and it's you
never really get the same experience
twice. You know, it's like
>> I feel that.
>> Yeah.
>> I do see a lot of different people
especially I've always worked on the
strip before working at the UFC and
stuff. I was working at Area 15 and
>> Oh yeah, I've been there before.
>> Such weird experience working there.
>> I was like I didn't know what to expect
when I went there the first time. I'm
like, what is this? Is like a escape
room.
>> Drugs.
>> Yeah. I'm like, what I'm like, what is
this supposed to even mean? Like I'm in
a room just a bunch of lights just
moving. I'm like, all right, this is
cool, I guess. But yeah.
>> Yeah, people that do drugs.
>> Yeah, I going there sober. You're just
like, what the hell is [laughter] what's
up? What's up with everybody here? But
yeah, no, that was a fun experience. And
um yeah, man. I'm just I'm super excited
for you, bro. And just, you know, I
appreciate you, you know, checking out
the content as well. I feel like you're
you're very interactive with it. And I'm
like, "Oh, see the boy S."
>> Dude, yeah, I love I love highlight
videos.
>> Yeah,
>> that's one thing I couldn't wait for,
too. I'm like, I can't wait to get into
a scrap fight, have some highlight.
That's I'm excited for this fight, too,
with Aussie. I'm like, this dude's a
killer. Like, he's good. I'm not going
to I'm I'm not going to lie. Like, and
I'm I've been training my ass off, so I
know that it's going to be a good fight.
And then we have some banger highlights
after.
I'll have I'll have an edit cooking up
for sure. And I just like, you know,
just seeing the even the comment section
when I posted that edit, it's just like
nothing but love. It just just pure
vibes there. I'm like, "Bro, this is
sick, bro." So,
>> that's why I like making edits as well,
cuz it's like, you know, I do it for the
fighters, you know, just because it's
like it's cool. It's like it's like a
hoop mixtape but with fight, you know
what I mean?
>> Yeah. And I'm a fan of all of it, bro.
I'm a fan of all of it. I love that it's
like I'm a fan of fighting
>> and I fight because it's like I mean I
don't mind that I'm like a fans of some
of these guys and friends with some of
these guys and we got to fight, you
know? It is what it is. We have a beer
after it.
>> Yeah. Who Who's uh someone that you're
kind of a fan of? you know, just like
their fight style or just at them as a
person. Like if you were to see them,
you kind of geek out just a little bit.
Just think of it be like
>> there's so many fighters. This is uh who
have I been watching a lot of lately?
Well, obviously I watch a lot of Rofy. I
watch a lot of uh Taporia. I watch a lot
of all these guys, you know. Shout out
to my boys. They last losses. I watch a
lot of Payton's outlet. Like freaking
dude, I even watch some a lot of
D-Rock's bangers. Um,
like freaking JP's last two fights were
freaking bangers.
>> JP, you trade with the Cobra team too,
right? Like you a few times.
>> Yeah, those guys those boys.
>> Yeah, Aussie. I was smash. Really
rooting for Aussie in his last few
fights. But Aussie put the biggest jab
on my face when we [laughter] sparred. I
remember
>> that's a big boy, bro.
>> Shout out to him. Those guys are sick. I
love all those guys. And I'm a fan of
all those guys. I love Shane Shane
Collins. His style is freaking sick,
bro. I love watching those guys.
>> His technique, man. He's a he's a really
good coach as well. So, I'm excited for
Shane in his next fights because I feel
like he has a lot a lot in his bag. You
know what I'm saying? That he really has
>> You don't even know that. Yeah, he's a
sleeper.
>> Yeah, Shane K is definitely a sleeper.
So, Payton, Drod, um Tapora, do you
watch any of their
>> Everybody What's up?
>> You watch like their older fights too or
you kind of just watch their most recent
ones?
>> Yeah. Yeah, like whatever whatever I'll
find on the internet, like when I'm
watching on YouTube, like my YouTube has
so many freaking different fights on it
and like random organizations all over
the place. Even a lot of one
championship fighters that I don't even
know, I'll have like popping up all on
my my YouTube.
>> But I'm just a fan of fighting, bro. I
just love watching it.
>> Like it's it's so sick. It's so fun.
It's cool to get better.
>> Yeah. And when you're watching the
fights, like where exactly are you
watching? Are you watching one specific
fighter or you kind of watching the
space in between? Like where do you keep
your eyes when you're watching film?
>> I try not to be biased because it's like
I can be biased sometimes when I like a
specific fight.
>> Oh yeah, I do that too. Especially JP's
last fight. I was just looking at
>> Yeah. Yeah. I did the same exact thing.
Some if I had And if it's my homie, I'll
have to watch the fight two or three
times if they lost and like for me to
>> get analysis on it.
>> Yeah. So it's like I'm just like
everybody else. So, I watch for the
entertainment, but I also watch it for
like film and like what certain guys do
to set things up and like, you know,
like high level things like that, but
I'm not really ever worried about what
other people are doing. It's about what
I'm going to do when I fight.
>> For sure. Do you watch your own fights
like that as well? Like, is it weird
seeing yourself like on you see it as
like a different person? You kind of see
them and like, oh, that's me.
>> It's cool. I mean, it it is cool. I like
for the first after I after I fight I'm
probably re-watching my fight like 300
times and then after that I'm like I
can't watch it no more. I'm tired of it.
>> Uhhuh.
>> Like that's how I feel about all my
fights.
>> I always wonder cuz I see people like
always on their phone after the fight
and it's usually just them re-watching
the fight. But I was just
>> Yeah.
>> You know if if just see how you're
looking at if you're looking from an
entertainment aspect or if you're
looking at just the things to improve on
for the next one.
>> A little bit of both. Yeah, definitely a
little bit of both cuz then you'll see
things that you do on there and you're
like you'll cringe yourself out. You're
like, "Oh, I shouldn't even."
>> Yeah. I mean, I do that with my YouTube
sometimes. I look back at my my videos
like, "Damn, bro." Like,
>> got a lot of [laughter] work, a lot of
work to do. But, I mean, those are the
cool things that that happen when you
have like all this stuff kind of done in
like real time and he could see it
afterwards,
>> right?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah, bro. And just keep putting your
sincerity into it, your heart into it,
and nothing but blessings and truth come
out of it.
>> Yes, sir. I appreciate you. Salud
Salahim.
ever. Uh, and uh, yeah, we'll be out
there week nine to support and uh,
we'll, you know, hopefully could run
into you afterwards after the the fight
just chop it up, you know.
>> Hell yeah, bro.
>> Appreciate you, man.
>> All right. Likewise, brother. God bless.
I appreciate you.
>> Yes, sir. So, catch you out there and

>> I know it's like I didn't learn to spell

all good

Houdini and Salah Houdin so it's like
