Yo yo yo, we are back with another
prediction video. What's up guys? Hope
you guys are doing well. We have Hamza
Chimaya versus Sean Strickland uh for
this UFC card. Also with a great co-main
with Joshua Ban and Tatsuro Tyra.
There's a lot of controversy with Chamay
and Strickland. I feel like it's just
really all talk at the end of the day.
We will really find out if these guys
are going to be ready to scrap. So we're
going to have our predictions. Also that
Koma, like I was saying earlier, Joshua
Van's really going to try to prove
himself as a real champion. You know,
with Pantosia, his arm broke early in
the first round. A lot of people are
saying that Joshua Van isn't, you know,
a real champ. Tatsu Tyra just beat
Brandon Moreno in a dominant fashion.
So, not really sure how this is going to
play out. I think Tatsuro Tyra did lose
to Brandon Roy Val and Joshua Van did
beat Roy Val in that war. So, we'll see
who's a better man on Saturday night.
And that's our job to have as many picks
as we can uh correctly. So, let's get
some of these picks started off. And uh
let's start with the first fight, ladies
and gentlemen. Let's go. Clayton
Carpenter versus Jose ooa. Okay, this is
a flyweight bout. Flyweights, bro, it
doesn't matter who's fighting, the
flyweights are always super entertaining
just because how fast they are. If you
guys don't know, Peruvians, they can
scrap, bro. I know a lot of people from
Peru are really nice, super caring, but
the ones that fight, they know how to
fight, bro. I wouldn't mess with any of
them. I'm going to go Jose Ooa. Um, for
the first fight of the night, yeah, I
think that the first fight, especially
if you're doing predictions, is the most
important for the vibes, right?
Especially if you're watching, you get
the first you get the first fight
correct, you're already your trajectory
is only going up. You know what I mean?
You're like, "Okay, I hit the first
one." It's underrated to be honest. I
know a lot of people don't really know
who's fighting in the in the first early
prelims, but I definitely want to get
the first pick correct. So, we're going
Jose Choat via TKO. Um, we're going to
go with a second round TKO. Okay, that
is our first pick. Second fight of the
night. I'm surprised cuz Sus Kayv, he
has quite a bit of a fan base, I would
say. Um, Suska versus DeJourne Santos. I
I hate to say this, but I think Sus Kayv
is not as good as the people think he
is, bro. And I'm not even trying to
hate. I'm really really not. I just
think when he's especially his last
fight, he gets in these situations where
he shouldn't be getting into, right?
Especially as a highle uh fighter, it
just seems like he does a lot of
taunting. Maybe that's just like it like
feels like he's not really taking it
serious enough, maybe. Or maybe he
thinks he's just really good. I think
that he's still going to win this fight,
but as soon as he starts moving up the
ranks, he's going to have to lock it in
a little bit. He's on the fence, bro. I
swear. I swear. Who Who do you fight? He
fought uh Mcconico. He fought McConno.
He hasn't really fought a huge name yet.
Dejour Santos, not a huge name as well.
Uh he has a good record though. Uh he's
what? He's uh 11 and two. So, he's a
solid guy. I think Sushi Kai can he can
grapple. He could uh stop the takedown.
He has a he has range so he has like a 4
inch reach advantage too. So that
that'll help him out. Uh I'm going to go
with decision bro. I don't see sus kayv
submitting uh Santos. Maybe he does get
a TKO, but I'm going to go save Sus Kaiv
decision if you guys are hitting parlays
or out there out there. I mean I just I
don't know. I don't know if I would add
Sus Kai just because he's such a huge
favorite minus 650. Um that is that is
my pick with that one. I don't really
trust it yet, but let me know in the
comments down below if you guys trust
Usakaya. Let me know. We have Pat
Zapatini versus William Gomez. Now, I
didn't know that Gomez has fought this
many times in the UFC. If you look back,
he's had quite a few fights almost three
years ago. He's been in the UFC for
three years, and I myself have never
seen him fight. So, you know, you learn
something new every day. and he's going
against Pat Zapatini who also has tons
of fights in the UFC. He beat Chip ver
via decision. I think Chipe like uh tore
something in his knee. So that and he
still went three rounds was super
impressive. But I think I'mma go I'mma
go Sabatini on this one. Okay. I'm going
just go with a decision here just
because I know we have a lot of
underdogs that I'm personally taking on
this card. So, I don't want to go too
crazy and be like all underdogs with the
picks, but my picks are going to be
crazy. Just letting you guys know. Like,
I'm I have a certain feeling that
certain fights are going to play out a
certain way, and a lot of them are just
leaning towards the underdog for some
reason. Okay, this this fight in spec
specifically, this fight specifically,
Ro Roman Copilov versus Marco Tulio. I
think Roman Copilov had a great fight
against Paulo Costa that went to
decision. It was a unanimous decision,
but he I felt like it was a it felt
while watching the fight, it was a lot
closer than it actually was. Um, he also
fought Robocop. So, honestly, I think
this is a downgrade in competition
compared to Robocop and Paulo Costa in
my opinion. And I think this is a
winnable fight for Copilov. Well, him
being the underdog at plus 165 currently
or 155 currently. Sorry, I don't have my
glasses on right now. I'm going Roman
Copilov and I'm going uh decision win as
well. Okay, not a finish decision. Few
taked downs during the fight, some
grappling. Um, I don't expect a
knockout, but maybe Tulio's chin is went
away. I have no idea. This one was tough
for me just because Jim Miller, he has,
bro, he's he's fought so much, bro. He's
38 and 19.
So many so many so many fights. I think
he's up there with like submissions in
the UFC, like submission uh wins. And
he's going against Jared Gordon, who
just lost his last fight via KO against
Half of Garcia. Half a Garcia as a dog
if you guys didn't see that fight with
Alexander Hernandez. Um so doesn't
really surprise me. He beat Dieago
Moyes. U this I feel like is also a
winnable fight for Jim Miller. He's the
underdog. He's 43 years old. Let's not
forget he's 43 years old. He's a plus
260, but I feel like if a submission is
there, Jim Miller will find it, bro. And
I'm going to go with a round three
submission for Jim Miller. Um, I just
feel like Jim Miller also has the
durability to withstand. I don't know if
he's going to retire after this fight,
but I know it's the late stages, bro.
Very late stages. If if you're still
scrapping at 43,
you're a dog, bro. Cuz, you know,
sometimes I'll be waking up and I'm 26
and like my my hips be hurt, my neck.
Just imagine at 43 years old and you're
fighting at a very high level in the
UFC. So, I think he pulls off a upset
win and uh wins via submission. Okay.
Grant Dawson versus Matteas Rebecki.
This one is is uh interesting, bro,
because Grant Dawson, he uh he got he
just got knocked out against Manuel
Torres. I did see that fight in person.
Grant Dawson is a tough fighter, you
know. Uh Rebecki is as well. Uh that
fight with Ludovic Klein, I believe
Rebecki was uh bleeding a ton. With all
that being said, with these guys, I
think Grant Dawson, he's the favorite,
ends up getting the win via TKO. I'm
going go with a round two TKO for Grant
Dawson. Nothing too crazy. Um, I do
think this is going to be a very
entertaining fight though. Both these
guys are durable and uh, you know, very
I'm I'm just questioning Dawson's chin.
You know, I know Torres can strike very
hard, but I just want to make sure that
chin is still intact. If it is, I'm very
confident that Grant Dawson will get the
dub um, right there. So, another
underdog that I'm taking is Joel Alvarez
versus uh, Amos Amosov. Amosov, the
Ukrainian. Uh, I feel like they haven't
gave Yoel Alvarez his flowers, bro. Even
though he's a little older, he's 33
years old. Uh, they put him on the early
prelims, they put him on the the
prelims, and I feel like a lot of people
don't really know um how dangerous
Alvarez is. Like really like the only
loss he's had in the last four years was
against Armen Serukian, and he's he's
won via KO. His last fight was decision,
but u he's a finisher, and I do think he
ends up finishing this fight. Um what's
uh Amosab only has one fight in the UFC.
He's fought for Bellator and he beat
Neil Magny. That's his own all his
resume. He's 29-1, but the only UFC um
stat that he really has is is a win
against Neil Magny. So with Alvarez
being the underdog at plus 145, that
looks very very juicy in my opinion. So
let me know what you guys think about
this pick. I think Joel Alvarez gets a
submission in round three and finishes
the fight.
You guys are going to get on me for this
one, bro. Cuz Abba is a minus 10,000
favorite. But if you guys saw Abba's
last fight, I'm going to go on a little
rant here, bro. Cuz Abba has been
getting fed these guys, bro. And you
can't say the UFC doesn't feed certain
um prospects. If we look at Abba's last
five fights, it has been well not
counting the the contender series, the
last four fights has been Jose Medina
who has lost his like last four or five
fights. Uh Robert Valentine who's 10 and
five, Tristan Vines who made his UFC
debut on a UFC debut on short notice.
Bro, I saw him the day of the weigh-ins
and I was just like, bro, this is the
Roman coliseum, bro. like they
I don't I don't even know. And I don't
even know about Andre Pulv. You know,
he's 10 and three, but he made Abba look
very human in that last fight. We all
thought that Abba is just this knockout
artist.
I'm taking Azie Diaz here, bro. I sound
like who's that reporter that was like,
I want Iodala to shoot the last shot.
>> With the game on the line, one shot, who
would you rather have taking it, Iggy or
Curry? of everyone on Golden State. Open
shot. Fate of the universe on the line
or the Martians have the death beam
pointed at Earth. You better hit it. I
want Iguadala. I'm taking Azie Diaz if
the world's on the line. Bro, I think a
TB's beatable, bro. I'm not even I wish
I was joking with you guys. Like for
real. But nah, I got Aussie Diaz. He
trains with Alma Sterling, John Paul,
Shane Collins at the Cobber team in Las
Vegas. He's He's probably in the best
shape of his life and he's a plus 675.
I'm taking Aussie Diaz. I'm calling it
right here. Aussie Diaz submission. Only
time will tell what happens during this
fight, but just know your boy is locked
in. And I think I think Aba's beatable,
bro. It's kind of a hard hill to die on,
but I'm dying on the hill if if uh if
you know push comes to shove. You know
what I mean? This is a UNC battle here.
Jeremy Stevens versus King Green. Are we
adopting King Green as like his real
name? Bobby Green. He's on a twoight win
streak, bro. Which is kind of crazy to
say. And I think he makes it three. We
saw Jeremy Stevens uh in his last fight
against Mason Jones. He just got taken
down. It looked like Jeremy Stevens had
just been focused on bare knuckle uh
since he left the UFC and he made his
return. He had no grappling, bro. I
think Bobby Green shows UNCK levels on
this one, bro. If Bobby Green just
doesn't get tapped on the chin, if a fly
doesn't land on his head, I think he
ends up getting the win. I swear. I
think he has he has a grappling that
will end up helping win rounds if it
goes to decision. Um it's just that the
chin, you know, I feel like every what
is it? Lightweight has a highlight of
Bobby Green on his highlight. You just
see Bobby Green getting put out
many many times, you know, but he's on a
two-ight win streak and I think the the
fans are rallying behind King Green on
this one. What do you guys think? I'm
taking King Green. I'm taking him by
What would be interesting here? I don't
see Stevens going out. Stevens is a
warrior. I'm not I'm not trying to knock
Jeremy Stevens at all, but I do think uh
we we'll go decision here. Bobby Green.
Um he's a minus 300 favorite. Man, this
card is getting crazy, bro. Like
honestly, this main card is actually
really solid. We have Shawn Brady versus
Haim Buckley. And we haven't seen Shawn
Brady go out like that. His last fight
with Michael Morales, he got TKO'd. He
just didn't look like himself. Usually
Shawn Brady is just this menace, you
know, this grappling demon who just
submits everybody. He'll just mounted
guillotine um everybody. And he's gone
to jiu-jitsu tournaments and done it as
well. So, he could do it at a very high
level. Speaking of Buckley's last fight,
it's been a long time. Has it been over
a year since Yeah, it's been 10 months
since he's fired Kamar Usman. Low key
Buckley just let us down a little bit
with uh with a takedown defense with
Usuzman's knees being in the state that
they are and Usman was able to get those
takedowns and control Buckley on the
ground. It was kind of sad to see. It's
kind of it's kind of leaving me, you
know, questioning what who I should pick
here just because how much improvement
can you make in 10 months when it comes
to dealing with a grappler because that
can happen exact the same exact thing
that happened with Usman could
definitely happen with Shawn Brady.
Plus, Shawn Brady has the submission
threat that Usman doesn't have. I think
Shawn Brady mentioned on an interview
that Usuzman only has like one
submission, like an arm triangle
submission years and years ago. So,
Quake Buckley didn't even have to deal
with submission threats. Now he does,
but something is telling me to take
Buckley on this one. I think it's just
like on the mental side of Shawn Brady.
Like I know he has like a mental coach
and he went on Joe Rogan to talk about
kind of like his his game plan and and
his like uh selfnarration during the
fights and going back into the cage
after he just got knocked out. I do
think there's going to be some time
where Guaim Buckley can spark up Shawn
Brady early in the first round. So, I
think if Buckley's aggressive and he
puts Shawn Brady on his heels, I think
we Buckley could knock out Shawn Brady.
This is a close one for me. I'm going
Buckley round one finish. They did
Volkov dirty, right? I think he lost to
what was it? Sir Gan with a fight that
he really should have won and Dana White
was like, "Yo, I'mma that that fight was
a complete robbery. I'mma I'mma hook you
up next next fight." And then they gave
him what? Almeida and he won via split
decision against Almeida. Like I don't
know what. And then they gave him a
Costa afterwards. Like they did not do
anything after that that robbery for uh
for Volkov. I'm going to take Salsa Boy
on this one. Even though I I like
Volkov. I think his his submission and
grappling threat is there. He's kind of
just like a XL version of Patty Pimlet,
especially when he has the braids. So if
Volov doesn't have the braids, I'm going
to Costa all day. If VOV has braids,
it's going to be a tough night, bro. It
might be going to decision, low key. But
I'm going to go Salsa Boy. Uh, first,
no, second round. Second round TKO. I
think the youth just plays a little bit
of a factor here in the speed and the
power. I'm not not saying Volkov's going
to get flatlined or anything, but Salsa
Boy got that power, and I do think he
ends up getting the dub. We're already
at the co-main event. Hope you guys are
enjoying the video so far. This one is
going to be low-key cinema. Okay, Joshua
Van first title defense, you know, and a
lot of people are questioning, does he
even deserve the title in the first
place? I feel like that's the main
narrative for Joshua Van. Taturo Tyra
coming out of Japan. Um, really taking,
you know, the the the flyweight division
by storm. He just beat Brandon Moreno
and he won against who he fight. Uh,
yeah, Hyong Park in a very dominant win.
A lot a lot of takedowns. I remember
watching that fight. He just completely
uh dominated that fight. His only loss
over here in the UFC has been against
Brandon Roy Valo who Joshua Van beat in
a razor thin match. Um, literally Joshua
Van won in the last seconds of that
fight. And I think Joshua Van is going
to need that type of performance to be
able to make a statement and actually
prove people wrong that he really does
deserve to be champion. Now, I believe
that Joshua Van is going to win due to
the timeline. Okay, we have to think of
the sea of potentiality here. If Joshua
Van wins, he keeps the title and Ptoia
makes the return and this leads uh just
a tons of great matchups over here. If
Tatsu Tyro wins and he ends up winning
the belt,
I just feel like Pantoia is going to be
chasing and chasing Josh that that that
feeling of getting that get back against
Joshua Van. And I think if we have a
rematch fight with Joshua Van and
Pantoia, that would be cinema. I'm gonna
go with the narrative that in order to
have that fight happen, Joshua Van needs
to win this fight. And I think Van has
great boxing. You know, I think Tyra has
him in the grappling department for
sure. U but when it comes to striking
and just pure boxing in general, I got I
got Van. Uh just keeping the reach
advantage. Tyra does have a 5 inch reach
advantage and a 2-in height advantage,
which is definitely going to play a
role, especially when it comes to Van
getting inside, getting the distance
right. Uh Tyra has a good jab, solid
fundamentals, like he's not a crazy
flying uh KO type of guy. Tatsuro Tyra
is very disciplined in his in his
approach as well. Uh the thing that also
helping me choose Van is just seeing his
his mindset change where he was talking
about on as soon as he won the belt, he
hasn't been partying. He's been locked
in. He's just been purely training. And
I do think that the belt does carry aura
with you. So you do have some of that
extra bit of energy, you know, to say
that you're the champion. Bruce Buffer
is saying that, you know, you're the
flyweight champion of the world. I do
think that's going to add a little bit
of confidence to Joshua Van Van's game
and plus he walks out of Chief Keef. So,
the aura is definitely going to be high
on this one. And I'm going Joshua Van uh
via this a five round fight, bro.
Round three. Round three TKO. That's
going to be my pick. Solid. Now, Hamza
Chimaya versus Sean Stricken for our
main event of the evening. I I see some
people taking Shawn Strickland. I just
don't see Shawn Strickland winning this
fight, bro. even though his takedown
defense is really the one of the best in
the division. Uh his boxing is really
really good as well. He has really good
uh deep kicks. He has uh what is that
Mayweather type of uh Philly shell using
that Philly shell during the stand up. I
think Hamzach as soon as the bell rings
he's just going to just teleport to Sean
Strickland's ankles and he's going to
take him down and hold him down for five
round five rounds. Bro, I don't think
this is going to be the most
entertaining fight. That's going to be
my take here. Even though there's a lot
of bad blood between the two, Sean
Stricks is the type of guy to just make
all this publicity and have these crazy
call outs and say we're gonna die in
there and this is war and all this other
stuff and then just even though Sean
Strickland, he's a respectable opponent,
he he beat Anthony Hernandez, he just
TKO Anthony Hernandez,
he's on a win loss cycle. He's won one
lost one, one lost one. He won his last
one. I think the pattern continue. It's
like Bakarat at the end of the day. And
it's either player or banker. I'm going
player on this one. And I'm going Hamza
Chimayv. I just once once this fight's
over and if Chimayv wins, I really hope
that Chimay has another opponent ready
to go because I feel like it's just been
taking way too long. He's kind of been
stalling the division as a whole. I
would love to see more activity from
from the, you know, the champ himself.
This is his first. This is his first
title defense since Drius Duplexi. And
that was how many months ago? Eight
months ago. And he's making his first
defense.
Brother, we're all getting older. We got
to see these guys fight. I'm going Hamza
Hamza Chimaya win via decision here. I
could see a submission. Totally see a
submission in the cards, but I'mma go
decision. Um maybe Strickland does win a
few rounds if it goes the distance, but
I think Chamay is going to end up um
with the dub via like gas tank and
takedowns. All in all, those are my
picks. I know we had tons of kind of
weird ones in there, but I'm really
hyped for this card to say the least.
So, I hope you guys enjoy. And also, let
me know if you guys enjoy reactions to
the cards as well. I could totally do
them. Um it just depends if you guys are
going to watch them or not. You know, I
love talking about the cards beforehand.
Also, we could talk them talk about them
after as well. So, just want to ask you
guys a few of those things. Make sure to
leave a like, subscribe, and stay tuned
for more. Appreciate you guys. Have a
great weekend. Let's get ready for these
fights. Let's get it. Peace.
