This is Tiger's first public course.
What's your favorite part about Payne's
Valley?
>> You know, if we could start with a
birdie, we might be golfing.
>> What would you say the biggest name in
Mastermind 19 is?
>> I mean, to be honest, this course has a
19th hole, so make sure you're staying
through the whole video to see that.
Hole number one here at Payne's Valley.
Beautiful morning. We got wind at our
back. Like, I think we can get it up
pretty close if I catch it good. What's
crazy, I've never seen this in my life.
It feels like we're on plane with the
clouds. You could see them just scooting
by. I thought it was smoke for a second.
Then I'm like, that's not smoke. That
looks like a cloud.
Oh, that is perfect. Get on. That's a
pretty good warm-up. That's a good
start, boys. For all the viewers, what
do you think's the What's your favorite
part about Payne's Valley? What do you
enjoy?
>> Um,
you know, you get the scenic view. Uh
this is a much um it's an easier course.
The fairways are very wide, so it's a
very forgiving course. It's definitely a
good course to come out to.
You know, if we can start with a birdie,
we might be golfing.
Oh, I just didn't hit it. Dude, that's
so bad.
These are so slow.
Oh, I got it fat.
I'd rather be there than uh the sand.
And
>> yeah, at least we can chip, you know,
putting from the right side. Chipping is
going to be the best option here.
>> Dude, I had the lining.
>> I've been saying this this whole trip at
Big Cedar. I just love there's like no
homes, you know? It's just pure valley
everywhere. And when there's no homes
and everything else and especially when
you're kind of on a mountaintop, you
could just see almost everything. I
mean, when we were on the other holes,
you could see like at least three or
four of the holes. Now we're over here
on hole four and I can go see, dude, at
least seven, eight other holes. I can
see Buffalo Ranch still. I remember
playing over there and looking back here
like it's it's incredible views out
here, man. It's just it really is the
Disneyland of golf. And for those of you
who haven't seen the other episodes, you
know, we did Ozarks, we did uh Buffalo
Ranch, and now we're here at Payne's
Valley. But this is also the most
familyfriendly place, like in my
opinion, in all of golf. At the resort
we're staying at, the Big Cedar Lodge,
they have like this thing called Fun
Mountain with like go-karts and bowling
and rope stuff. And so like they'll
actually take your kid out on an
adventure while you golf. And your kid
will probably love it way more if they
don't golf.
Oh, that was the club pin high. That was
pin high. We'll take it.
Eagle. Eagle. OH,
LET'S GO.
OH, MAN. It almost popped out.
>> There we go. It popped out and somehow
popped back in. Oh man, good read.
>> Good read. Good bud.
>> Hey, let me give you guys some quick
facts here about Payne's Valley. So,
this is Tiger's first public course that
his firm ended up designing. You know,
the course opened back in 2020, so it's
still relatively new. He started the
firm back in 2006. So, for 14 years,
they never did a public course until
now. He named it after Payne Stewart,
the three-time major champion. I
remember seeing him over at Pinehurst as
well with his little punch, you know,
celebration. The reason he named it is
because Payne grew up right near here um
in Springfield, Missouri. So, pretty
cool history on that front. This course
has a 19th hole, so make sure you're
staying through the whole video to see
that. It's really sweet. They got like a
bar at it and everything else. But Tiger
did not design the 19th hole. Actually,
Johnny Morris, who owns Bass Pro Shops,
which owns this entire course, put that
in himself because he wanted it. And I'm
I'm glad he did because here at M19,
obviously, we enjoy the 19th hole.
That's literally, for those who don't
know, mastermind 19 is mastermind on the
19th hole. So, we appreciate all of the
courses that got 19th holes like Payne's
Valley. I'm excited for the rest of the
course. And, you know, now we got a par
five right here. So, if we could go back
to back like eagles or backto back eagle
birdie, we're going to be sitting in
good shape.
Oh crap.
That's a bad three putt.
Oh, cover. I hit it off the toe.
Dang, I am burning them.
Like that.
That's as good as I could hit it. What
would you say the biggest name in
Mastermind 19 is other than Ryan?
>> Um, I mean to be honest, we don't have
like famous people. They're all
>> just business owners. And
>> yeah, to be a member, you got to be
doing over a million bucks a year in
your business.
>> Holy cow.
>> The average business owners doing 10
million a year.
>> Wow.
>> So, they're all very high-end, high net
worth guys,
>> right?
>> So, yeah, most of them are not public.
They just have great businesses. Yeah,
those are those are great people to have
around you.
>> Yeah.
>> So, do you feed off of a lot of that?
Not like financially, but like like um
advice wise.
>> Yeah, that's the whole point. That's why
it's called a mastermind. So, these guys
>> the last three days have just been
hanging out just masterminding,
>> talking about their businesses and their
problems and getting feedback and
>> okay,
>> uh you know, hey, you need to go talk to
this guy. He can help you out with your
problem. a lot of the issue when I ced
for that group cuz hey, I met two guys
yesterday and they kind of do the same
thing you do.
>> You should go link up with them. I mean,
the reason somebody joins is because we
obviously go on bucket list trips like
this. We're going to Tory Pines next
month. We're going to Bandon next month.
They can just pick whatever trips they
want to go on. We do everything. We book
it. We get all the tea times together,
the hotels, the food, the drink.
Everything's on us. And then they show
up knowing like, dude, there's 40 other
highle people here that are in this
group and we're all going to hang out
the next 3 4 days. Gotcha. golf with new
people that we've never met that we know
are highc caliber versus like randos
>> at the golf course and so that's why
they join and then like locally too we
have groups and so you know we have
hundreds of members so now they all play
locally together as well
>> oh man
I've hit so many edges it's insane
I almost missed that
>> your heart Ryan
>> I breaker.
>> I almost I almost hit another edge.
Oh.
Oh crap. I thinned it,
dude.
We're like 285 out. We're going to, you
know, try to be a hero because why not?
IT'S OUT.
>> OH, WE SAVED IT. FINALLY.
>> ONE.
>> We finally got one to go through.
Dude, why am I doing that? An
affirmation is you never include a
negative. The affirmation is I'm putting
it in the hole, not I'm missing the
bunker. You understand? You don't say
I'm not going to be broke anymore. Says
I am rich. That's what an affirmation
is. Now, I'm not saying affirmations
work, but if if you're going to do it,
just do it the right way.
>> Perfect.
>> Guess where we're not.
>> Let's go, baby.
>> The bunker.
>> That's because I said I'm going in the
hole. Not that it works. I want to be
clear. That was all skill.
>> This is a beautiful halfway house. They
got the exclusive Payne's Valley logo.
So, if uh this logo, it only is at this
halfway house. So, it's actually super
smart cuz people go buy the normal stuff
and then they get here and they're like,
"Oh, I can only buy it here right now."
It makes sense. So, I'm sure they just
sell a ton. I've got a couple of these
hats already.
>> Like that.
>> Just like that, baby.
Ah,
>> what is it called?
>> So, this is just the 18th hole
tradition. Leave your golf ball at
Payne's Valley. So,
>> as you see on the ledge when you finish
up, everybody tosses a golf ball up and
uh leaves it here. So, it leaves a piece
of you at at Payne's Valley.
>> All right. And it's going to be an
advertisement for M19. So, here we go.
>> Oh, it stayed up. There we No, IT
DIDN'T.
>> OH, NO. DANG.
>> Doesn't want your 19.
>> It's like we chew that up and spit it
out. What do you What do you guys Do you
guys got a signature 19 volt cocktail or
what?
>> It's the Transfusion. Comes in the 19
volt cup.
>> Okay, let's try and get a hole in one.
>> Oh, hurry up, Jose. Let's see yours.
>> Yeah, I'mma film you, dude. Let's go.
>> Oh, yeah. I got that splash.
There we go, baby.
Oh, duffed it.
>> That's how you get a par. We can rest
easy. Hold up. So, hey, I want to do
something for Caleb because Caleb is out
here doing ministry, doing good things,
everything else. You've been a great
caddy today and I'm glad we met over
there. Yeah.
>> So, you told me you told me you're
taking your family to Destin for a
vacation. You've been saving up all this
stuff.
>> So, I want to contribute to that. I'm
going to give you a thousand bucks
>> and just help bless your family,
>> dude. You ain't got to do that, man.
Thank you so much.
>> Yeah.
Take your kids somewhere nice. Enjoy it.
>> Thank you, man. That that means so much.
So,
>> yeah. You guys are going next week,
right?
>> Next week. Next Saturday. You tell him
that the dinner's on Uncle Ryan.
>> Okay, I will do.
>> Other than that, guys, man, awesome time
at Payne's Valley. That concludes our
trip. One of my favorite destinations
ever. I love it so much. I'll be back
here every single year with M19. If you
want to join us on one of these trips,
like I said, go to mastermind.com.
Uh, our next videos are going to be at
Tory Pines and Delmare Country Club.
