00:00 this is the advanced guide to creating

00:01 killer YouTube scripts to blow up your

00:03 channel because what's the secret how do

00:06 these channels systematically craft

00:07 scripts designed to go viral almost

00:09 every single time I mean look at these

00:12 scripts these scripts are engineered

00:14 with psychology and tactics to create

00:16 the most engaging videos I mean come on

00:18 this just sounds like poetry I'm going

00:20 to steal the Declaration of Independence

00:22 but it can't be the scripts it's got to

00:23 be something else right it's probably

00:25 just the gear they're using or maybe

00:26 they have a huge following on Tik Tok or

00:28 they know something we don't and they

00:30 want to keep that knowledge a secret

00:31 well there is a secret but the secret to

00:34 success isn't what you think secret

00:36 lives with Charlotte and without this

00:39 YouTube itself completely falls apart

00:42 good news is it's actually quite simple

00:44 here's the story so it turns out a

00:46 script can be either average great or

00:48 killer and it's not a normal

00:50 distribution most scripts are average

00:52 that's why the vast majority of us are

00:53 stuck under a th000 Subs while a select

00:55 few break a million the quality of

00:57 scripts is vastly different and that's

00:59 why the channel results are vastly

01:01 different and this video will show you

01:03 how to write all three types and yeah

01:05 mainly the killer one but you have to

01:06 write an average script before you write

01:08 a killer script and whether you write

01:09 scripts before you film or you craft

01:11 your story in the edit this video is for

01:13 you and speaking of you if you're new to

01:15 the channel welcome because you're home

01:17 and to be honest we need you subscribers

01:18 to this channel are men and women well

01:20 for some reason mostly men why are there

01:23 so many dudes on this channel she's out

01:25 there subscribers to this channel are

01:28 men and women who love creating videos

01:30 and genuinely want to make themselves

01:32 their families their communities their

01:34 Nations a better place and after being

01:36 nearly a year and a half of being gone

01:38 from YouTube of course the night before

01:39 I film my girlfriend's dog slashed my

01:42 face but I've seriously missed you all

01:44 so much and I'm so excited to finally be

01:46 back on YouTube the secret to YouTube

01:48 scripts and frankly all scripts in

01:50 general is that they're a function of

01:52 two things build intention and this one

01:56 formula should guide every second of

01:57 your script writing process and it's

01:59 what holds all of YouTube together

02:01 what's the one point You're Building

02:03 towards and how do you create tension

02:05 along the way and this is a function

02:07 like however good your build and

02:09 ttention are your video will do average

02:11 great or completely blow up your channel

02:13 it really only takes one video so where

02:16 do we start it's a riddle Bobby Fisher

02:19 the legendary chess champion said

02:21 tactics flow from a superior position so

02:24 while you want to hurry up and start

02:25 writing your whole script that's not

02:27 where we start this killer script you

02:29 see here flowed from a killer outline

02:32 first like an overall Arc for the whole

02:34 story and at its simplest form that Arc

02:37 is just three things the story is

02:39 introduced builds to a climactic peak

02:42 and then resolves so to get started

02:44 don't start writing a script start

02:46 writing an outline and to help me write

02:48 my outlines and my scripts for my videos

02:50 I made this app called Studio Forge

02:52 Google Docs and all that works but I

02:53 just needed a dedicated platform to help

02:55 me make my Youtube video so that's why I

02:57 made this app link below in the

02:58 description look when you start watching

03:00 any other video you'll start noticing

03:02 what's the intro what's the climax

03:04 what's the resolution this is pretty

03:05 simple stuff but almost every YouTuber

03:07 skips this this is the whole foundation

03:10 and without these three things you're

03:11 going to struggle writing a killer

03:13 script good news is it's actually quite

03:17 simple this is Cole Zer Cole makes

03:20 videos helping people get through their

03:21 breakup he makes really authentic

03:23 content that's designed not just to help

03:25 them get their ex back but on how to

03:27 move forward and be a better person and

03:29 live their life more and now just like

03:31 pretty much every Tik tocker he's trying

03:33 to figure out how to get onto YouTube

03:35 it's pretty frustrating what kind of

03:37 ideas do you have so far so I want to

03:39 make a video on six reasons people leave

03:42 the ones they love to just give people

03:43 more understanding about what happened

03:45 in their relationship so let's go ahead

03:46 and create a video from there when you

03:48 have your video ideas laid out in a

03:50 manner like this it becomes really easy

03:52 to just pick one of your ideas and start

03:53 making a video from it oh that's cool

03:57 okay okay playing video do you have a

03:59 thumbnail yet

04:00 nope word title um no have you watched

04:04 any of my videos before we ever start

04:06 with the script we got to come up with

04:07 outline let's go into outline mode this

04:10 is freaking cool this is what the

04:11 average YouTube script looks like

04:13 there's a weak intro like welcome to the

04:15 channel there's hardly any emotional

04:17 Builder Climax and the resolution is

04:19 basically a like And subscribe so this

04:21 is basically like the average YouTube

04:23 video right this is about how far I

04:24 would usually go and then I would just

04:25 set the camera and talk and that that

04:27 works right that'll get you average

04:29 result results but we're here for killer

04:31 results I was waiting for that word

04:33 killer so now the question is how do we

04:34 turn this average script into a great

04:36 script a better intro a better Climax

04:39 and a better conclusion what's the one

04:41 point You're Building towards I have two

04:43 main ideas so one major point is just

04:45 giving people some education explanation

04:48 on what probably happened these are the

04:49 six most common that I've seen the next

04:51 point is to explain to people and

04:55 validate people that did leave for these

04:57 reasons that it's okay that they're not

05:00 the bad guy for choosing to leave a

05:02 situation that wasn't the best for them

05:04 is it okay to have two we may have more

05:06 clarity on what's the one climax we're

05:08 building towards if we do a better job

05:10 on our intro once we know what the hook

05:12 is then we know the answer that it's

05:15 going to be I could tell a personal

05:17 story just about like how I was so

05:19 confused and I would go through

05:21 thousands of different possible

05:23 scenarios in my head of why I got left

05:25 what I might have done wrong the hook is

05:27 I'm so hurting and Confused that climax

05:30 is the answer as to why they left the

05:32 relationship what you do once you have

05:33 it and the conclusion the resolution is

05:36 going to be now that I see this light

05:38 here's how it my story can resolve and I

05:41 can move forward we've got two climaxes

05:43 and I think that that could be a problem

05:45 how can we sum up these two climaxes

05:47 into one killer point that we're trying

05:49 to build towards closure is I think the

05:51 biggest one it's like climax Max I don't

05:55 know how I feel about that how do you

05:56 cut that down into something shorter is

05:59 it closure is it alleviating confusion I

06:03 think the main thing is understanding

06:05 like closure through understanding

06:07 closure through understanding you can

06:09 see that Cole's getting more and more

06:11 clarity as he simplifies what's his

06:13 intro what's his Climax and what's his

06:16 resolution this is a killer outline so

06:18 okay cool how do you feel about it I

06:19 freaking love it so don't write your

06:21 script until you've written your outline

06:23 what's your intro hook what's your

06:25 climactic build and how do you resolve

06:27 the story and ladies and gentlemen when

06:30 you've done the work like this on your

06:32 outline the script just flows naturally

06:35 do you feel like any of the tension is

06:37 going to be lost in the reasons maybe if

06:39 it gets lost in the reasons it could

06:40 kind of die down and then the climax

06:42 wouldn't be as powerful but I think that

06:43 leads perfectly into the next section of

06:45 the video Okay cool so go ahead and

06:47 click script mode

06:49 sweet okay and so now for each of those

06:52 sections we just each of those outline

06:54 sections we made now we can write the

06:55 script lines form that's cool so now

06:57 that we know what we're building towards

06:59 how do we create tension along the way

07:01 listen what's the only reason that

07:04 you'll stop watching a YouTube video

07:07 only if it's boring so pacing keeps that

07:09 viewer engaged and so what's the number

07:12 one easiest way that every YouTuber can

07:15 start improving their pacing start

07:17 cutting cut all those unnecessary lines

07:19 you got to be ruthless like every single

07:22 second of your script should build your

07:24 intro to the climax and if it doesn't

07:27 contribute cut it out every story is

07:30 collapsible to some degree if you're not

07:32 taking out 10% you're not trying very

07:34 hard why take 20 minutes to say

07:36 something when you can say it in five

07:38 anytime I build anticipation for what's

07:40 to come next or should I say open a loop

07:43 I create tension in my video because the

07:45 viewer just like has to close that Loop

07:47 and this constant opening and closing of

07:49 Loops is just the essence of captivating

07:51 writing what makes surfing thrilling is

07:54 carving up and down the face of the wave

07:56 so rather than writing your viewers

07:58 emotions Flatline try to peek up and

08:01 down the full spectrum of emotion make

08:03 them scared make them laugh make them

08:05 angry relieved happy sad crushed nervous

08:08 joyful how can we make this like an

08:09 emotional intro I want to talk about

08:12 sleepless nights and not knowing what

08:13 happened I remember

08:15 pacing the floor and pulling my hair out

08:20 trying to figure out what went wrong I

08:25 could say like this really mattered to

08:27 me if we say this really mattered to me

08:30 that doesn't really open up that much of

08:32 a loop by the end of this video

08:38 finally

08:40 provide you with closure you seek this

08:44 sounds really cool so much better than

08:47 just going into the reasons after saying

08:49 hello this is a script that has built

08:52 it's awes this has build and if you keep

08:54 this up this will have fantastic tension

08:57 too you open Loops you start with an

08:59 intro the whole point of your video is

09:02 building to the one killer Point how to

09:05 get closure through understanding what a

09:07 gift a good writer is to be able to

09:09 accentuate and help us Savor all the

09:12 positive and negative emotions that God

09:14 wants us to feel in this life but all

09:16 these tactics be it pacing tension Loop

09:18 opening cutting and editing flow

09:20 naturally because we had a good outline

09:23 a structure for our writing to flourish

09:25 if you want a killer script to blow up

09:27 your channel what's the one killer Point

09:29 You're Building towards and how are you

09:31 creating killer tension along the way

09:33 anyone can learn this and that's what's

09:34 so cool like it's not just some special

09:36 trait that you have or you don't no

09:38 one's naturally born good at this and

09:40 that's what makes this so fun is you

09:42 just keep practicing and improving and

09:44 seeing your skills get better there's

09:46 one critical part of this function that

09:47 I left out it's invisible and if there

09:50 ever was a secret this is it what are

09:53 the YouTube videos we really enjoy it's

09:56 the ones where the Creator fell in love

09:58 making it what like life can you bring

10:00 to your script what gift is given to you

10:02 so that you can enjoy it yourself and

10:03 share it with your family your community

10:05 and your country I can't tell you how

10:07 many times I'll write a draft for one of

10:09 my scripts and I'll struggle with it

10:11 it'll be overly complex and I just not

10:13 having a good time making it and then

10:15 I'll go to sleep and then I'll wake up

10:16 the next morning and suddenly it hits me

10:18 that I wasn't having fun with it so yeah

10:21 from a marketing perspective I try to

10:23 pick video topics that you'll click on

10:25 and that you'll watch but it's really

10:27 hard for me to make a video that I'm not

10:30 in love with hundreds of you have been

10:32 asking where I'm at why I'm squandering

10:34 my YouTube potential and that's true I

10:36 definitely should have been making

10:37 videos the last year but I feel really

10:39 different since the last time I made a

10:41 video I feel like I've died and been

10:45 reborn I used to be so obsessed with

10:47 productivity and accomplishing goals and

10:50 all these skills that I could learn to

10:51 improve myself and now rather than

10:53 trying to escape from life I'm learning

10:56 that I can escape into life I see all of

10:58 the good that life has to offer and I

11:01 can't get enough of life now something

11:03 or someone is redeeming me and I feel

11:05 like I get to savor all the pain and joy

11:07 life has to offer Rich pain and Rich joy

11:11 and believe it or not this isn't

11:12 entirely off track because your script

11:14 should help people feel pain and joy and

11:16 everything in between so sorry I've been

11:18 gone so long but just know that I've

11:20 missed you and yeah let's get back to

11:22 killer YouTube Scripts
